In order to facilitate a ‘breakthrough experience’, it begins with a well articulated strategy. The elements of which lead to a specific process, one that is simple, elegant and easy to deliver to either a small group or a room of hundreds. Our clients normally have no martial arts experience.
There are five steps to our seminars:
1. Identify Obstacles
We focus on limitations – in life, business, or personal relationships. Having clarity about the obstacle in front of us is key before moving onto the next step.
2. Zero In
We focus on the most crucial obstacle and write it down. This symbolic act helps to crystallize the obstacle in a powerful way. It is possible that this may be the first time someone has actually come face-to-face with a critical challenge and taken ownership of it.
3. Visualize Freedom
We take calculated steps to visualize and imagine what life is going to be like once that obstacle is annihilated. We explore how it will feel to be completely free of that challenge or limitation.
4. Introduce Task
We make the abstract concepts up to this point tactile and tangible by introducing the physical task challenge of breaking through a 3/4 inch thick rough cut wood with one’s bare hand. To most, it seems impossible one can pass his or her hand painlessly through a solid piece of wood without any prior training. If this were easy to do, everyone would already be doing it. In this step, we carefully and clearly unveil the secrets to successful board-breaking which will result in a clean and effective break every time.
5. Experience the Breakthrough
We facilitate the crystallization of overcoming the challenge of focus by coaching each and every person in actually breaking a piece of wood on the first try, with minimal effort and no pain. Once the board explodes apart, participants will experience an explosion of emotion including excitement, elation and power. Most people do not believe they can break though the wood, yet, by following this process under the expert guidance of the Strategic Samurai and crew, transformational results will be achieved in a split second.
