The Brand Comes Alive0

I love anime and wanted a character that looked similar to me and had a feeling of flow to her. Whether I am training in traditional Japanese sword fighting or training in Hapkido, flow is critical to success. Speaking of critical, it was of utmost importance that she is holding the sword properly as far as her grip was concerned. I’ve had way too many hours of strict sword training and honoring the correct hand placement was crucial. As for colors, red and black hold quite a bit of significance to me: red and black were my high school colors (Go Indians!), red and black were the colors of the first company I started: Volcanic Lab, red and black were the colors of the cover of the two books I wrote on Flash and of course red is the color of blood that results from the swift cut of a Samurai’s sword – nice!
